Im Antonio Lanza, born between Puerto Rico and
Spain, 1974 ( we will have to talk so I can
explain, is a long story). I had learned art by
trying to show my experiences and tales in a visual
manner.
I had studied a couple of years of Architecture
at the Universid Politecnica of Puerto Rico, and
Plastic Arts at the Universidad de Artes
Plasticas de San Juan. Took some drawing lessons
with an old distant relative from Spain.
I had done a couple of exhibits in Puerto Rico
but mainly I had sold my work to art collectors
via personal presentations.
My influeces ranges from Picasso, Dali, Mc
Escher, Miro, Pollock, Basquiat, Goya, to
mention a few. I love art, is my sickness,
madness and passion.
My technique: Paint a story, no matter how happy
or dark,
make sure is always colorful, so is less
painful to watch. For me, Keepin it simple
wont sell to those who are seeking more than
pretty colors decorating walls.
My ambition is to be a Great Painter, my
commitment is to serve my country with the USNAVY,
as an electronic technician.
Thanks for
visiting my page, hope you like my work and meet
one of these days.
